Hey guys!

Okay, so obviously I'm making the leap for good now, from Xanga to here. I have a blogspot for my photography, and figured that it would be easier just to use ONE 'outlet' for blogging. So I don't sound too lame saying, "I have a Xanga, Facebook, Myspace, work blog, and another blog"

So while you're here, I should probably write a really detailed post to keep you here, right?

Let's start with the littlest Vanoven, you know, the one who is chilling in my uterus as I type? He or she is just doing great! This may be one of my favorite times during pregnancy, the kicks aren't quite hard enough to hurt yet, but you can still see my stomach jumping and rolling with the acrobatics going on within!

We had the 'big' ultrasound a week or so ago, and while we have never wanted to find out with this one, we did cave at the last minute and couldn't help ourselves. So we asked to find out and wouldn't you know it, the little booger had those legs crossed as tight as they go!

I'm actually really really happy that we didn't find out! It will make the day we meet this little monster all the more exciting, I think! Have I told you guys the names we have picked out yet? If it's a boy, it will be Emmett Samuel. I was looking through the baby name book with the idea of a traditonal/strong name that wasn't on the top 100 list. Emmett jumped out at me, probably from the Twilight books, and I was hooked. I thought I'd have to work on convincing Nick on the name (mainly because we'd be quasi-naming our child after a fictional vampire!), but he really liked it as well. Samuel is after my uncle who passed away last August.

I'm really excited about the girl name, so I'm leaning that way in my preference...Joselyn Grace, but we'll call her Josie. I have a cousin named Josie and I've always l-o-v-e-d that name, so I asked my aunt if I could steal it! And then Grace is my Granny's (dad's mom) middle name and we are exceptionally close so I wanted to name our daughter after her.

The next smallest Vanoven (Nicholas) is growing way, WAY too fast! He is really talking so much more now, and is seriously the craziest, weirdest, insanest kid I have ever been around. He is constantly in his own little happy world...EVERYTHING cracks him up, he spends 90% of the day laughing at anything that moves...or doesn't moves...pretty much all something has to do is exist for him to find it funny.

He is amazingly talented at sports already, he can make a basket from 5 feet away from the hoop and will spend hours just throwing the ball over and over and screeching, "YAYYYYY!" at the top of his lungs whenever he makes it in. He also can already put a spin on a football...something that after 25 years on earth I haven't managed to figure out!

But my favorite time with him is right before bed, our 'song' is "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra and I sing it to him every night. But I have to make sure I don't try to peek and see if his eyes are open or closed, because if they're open he will giggle/snort, which gets me giggling, and 20 minutes later we are both crying we're laughing so hard like 9 year olds during church!

The not-so-little anymore oldest Vanoven kid (Brynn) is seriously becoming more beautiful every day. There are moments where I just stare at her and marvel at how gorgeous she is at 5 years old. Her smile puts Julia Roberts to shame and just lights up a room. She loves making people laugh, which is probably why her little brother is such a giggle box, she just beams whenever anyone thinks that she's funny!

She had her first basketball game on Saturday morning and it was so much fun to watch! I will say that I think she will have her mother's klutz gene and probably won't have a future in any sport that requires hand eye coordination! After one period she was faking an injury and just wanted to hug daddy (who happens to be a coach!). Sooooo much like me it isn't funny! I forsee a future in entertainment, maybe dance or theater. She loves performing/singing/dancing/play acting. Much more like mommy that daddy and Nicholas!

Nick is doing great, we have a very good chance of moving within the year thanks to Nick getting into a management position at work. He applied for the January training class, and while he was accepted to be in the class, he wasn't selected for the January course. There will be 3 more courses over the next year, so chances are he'll be in one of those. After that, who knows where we'll be, it could be anywhere from New York to Alabama and everywhere in between! I love moving and Nick has the itch to move as well, so we are definitely happy about this. Although I would really miss Indianapolis, but with CSX, there is a very good chance we would end up back here eventually!

I have been pretty relaxed, actually, lately! Business has slowed down alot due to the midwest's yucky weather, but that is soooo fine with me! I have been so tired this pregnancy and I'm enjoying spending so much time with the kids. I'm sure I will have plenty of shoots once spring rolls back around and I can't wait!

Tomorrow, Nick and I are going to see Joel McHale from The Soup on E! at the Murat downtown. I can't wait! Nick and I are huge fans of the show, so I'm really excited to see him live. Beforehand we are going to use our Bonefish gift cards, so I'm excited about THAT as well!!

I have some pictures that I need to post as soon as I get them off of my computer!

Let me know if you made the jump to my blogspot! :)

Hi! I made the jump, too! I have actually had my blogspot account for awhile now, but I am using that as my "serious" blog and xanga as my "everyday" blog. Glad to hear that things are going well for you!:)
