How I got the camera...

In my total excitement of the last post, I completely forgot to give credit to my AMAZING PARENTS!!!!

I called my mom and let her know that the loan didn't go through, and yeah, I was totally crying like a big fat baby. I was just SO upset. I had already booked weddings for this summer/fall, since I was banking on having a better camera with a professional flash, yadda yadda yadda.

The next day, I decided to ask my grandparents, so I called my mom (their daughter) to ask her if she thought I should call my grandma or email them, since I didn't want to put her on the spot by calling her and actually saying what I wanted and then just like, "So....um, what do you think?"

The next day, my mom called me and told me that she and my dad had talked it over and were able to give me the loan! Everything went super fast after that, I got the money, went straight to the camera store, and the rest is history!

There is a new session up on my photography blog that I used the new camera with and I loooooooooooooooooove it! :)

I also had a shoot all day long at the GAP the other day, and it worked out BEAUTIFULLY! I was helping my friend, so she has all my images, and as soon as she gets the copyright releases all back from the parents, I'll post those too...there were some really gorgeous ones!

Anyways, I have another fun shoot tomorrow with Malachi and Lincoln, so be sure to check the other blog for those pictures! :)

Awesome! I hear the D300 is a pretty awesome piece of equipment.

Can I ask you one more question? What lense did you use (most) for your indoor photography? I've got the D80 with the 18-135mm lense. I want to add a couple of lenses to that but as of now I only have the one.
