Yes. Only you ladies (who I believe are the only sex who reads my blog) understand what a sad, sad morning it was for me, when I woke up to my underwire stabbing me in my armpit fat.

*sigh*

So I dug through my bra drawer in a desperate attempt to find one that actually fits the girls as of late, only to find that the only one that fit was a nursing bra I wore while nursing both Brynn and Nicholas that was all frayed and bunchy. Seeeeeexy mama, I tell you what!

Nick wanted to go look at curtains later on, so we packed the kids off and headed to the mall, where I got the lucky idea to duck into Victoria's Secret and buy a bra...and lo and behold they were having their 2 for 1 sale!!! So I got TWO amazing bras for $50. (Nick's eyes bugged out...no, not at how unbelievably sexy the bras were, it was the price that made his jaw hit the floor...men, they just don't get it)

Brynn was so cute rifling through the bras, declaring loudly that she wanted the red one (34DD of course) for her first bra. The other women in the store sure got a kick out of her. The kid does have taste, though. She totally picked out one that I ended up getting!

Other than that, our shopping was completely uneventful. Once we got to the curtains at JC Penny, I fell in love with some that 100% do not match our room. So after much deliberation, we just decided to paint the room a different color so Princess Rachel can have these curtains:

Oh. Scratch the uneventful part. I left out where Nicholas saw some lovely glass balls...ran straight for them, and before Nick or I could react had tried to 'bounce' one on the floor. Yes. His reaction? "Oh nooooo! Ball broke!"

Yes, Nicholas. Ball broke. Ball broke everywhere.

But the most annoying part? I couldn't even get after him for it because the sales ladies came rushing over making sure he knew he was 'okay' and it was an 'accident' and "Look how cute he is! The little dear!"

Seriously?!?! Where were these angels when I was the terror breaking things off the shelves? Also, I would have liked to instil some fear into my son to NOT grab things and throw them in stores...instead, he was pampered by these women and fawned over like he cured cancer! Yeah. THAT will teach 'im.

I tried to pay, they absolutely refused. Oh well. No one was more confused than Brynn, who was giddy (like most older siblings) at the prospect of her bratty brother getting into trouble, only to have him cooed and fussed over. She kept saying, "But he broke it, Mommy...aren't they mad?"

Anyways, I have pictures. I promise. Lots of them. I've just been very busy making sure Mr. Nicholas gets feeling better, and about 3 days ago was struck with insane pain on the right side of my face (stemming from a tooth I think), that I was prescribed Lortab for, so my days are full of either extreme pain or extreme loopiness from the drugs. I haven't figured out which I hate more yet!
